Maintain the maximum number of feeders. Offer a variety of seeds, as well as
suet, bird cakes and fruit. Locate them in the four feeding niches: ground,
tabletop/post, hanging, and tree trunk.

Keep the feeders free of snow, and refill them as often as necessary.

Build or repair birdhouses for spring.

Maintain a bird bath or pond with a heater, if necessary, to keep the water from
freezing.
